Michael Smith -President
Michael has spent more than 25 years
in developing readiness programs. He has extensive
consulting in experience in business continuity, disaster recovery,
crisis management and emergency response for many of North America’s
largest organizations. He is President of Readysmith Advisers, experts in
preparing organizations to deal with adversity - emergencies, crises,
disasters. Michael has built consulting practices for IBM, Ernst
& Young and Marsh Risk Consulting, all specializing in readiness.
Michael is a noted speaker and writer. He
has written two chapters on business continuity planning for the NFPA
1600 Implementation Handbook.
He has been quoted
in articles in the Toronto Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, the Ottawa
Sun, the Calgary Sun, the Washington Post, and the Chicago Tribune. He
has also been on CNN, the Report on Business TV channel, Global News,

Debra Reddish -Vice President
Debra is a senior business continuity and risk
management consultant. She has over 20 years experience in the areas
of business continuity planning, information technology audit and
consulting, and operational risk management assessment. Debra has
experience in banking, insurance,re-insurance, manufacturing, and
government sectors. Her project work includes business
continuity assessments and audits, business impact analyses, recovery
resource requirements analyses, recovery strategy development, recovery
plan development, crisis management, emergency response, recovery vendor
analyses, recovery testing and training. Debra was formerly Vice
President and Senior Consultant with Marsh Risk Consulting. Prior to
Marsh, Debra was a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Debra is
a Certified Business Continuity Planner, Certified Internal Auditor, and
a Certified Information Systems Auditor. Her professional membership
organizations include: Disaster Recovery Institute International,
Northeast Disaster Recovery Information Exchange (NEDRIX), Association
of Contingency Planners, Institute of Internal Auditors,and the
Information Systems Audit & Control Association
Jeff Taylor - Vice President
Drawing on more than 20 years of
Information Technology and business related experience, including eight
years as a consultant in the IBM Business Resilience and Continuity
Services Group. Jeff offers experience and expertise in
the Business Continuity area to leading organizations across all
industries including manufacturing, communication, pharmaceutical,
mining, insurance, finance, energy and utilities, government,
education and technology as well as management
firms seeking BCP consulting expertise. Jeff has provided consulting
services in Canada, Asia, South America, and extensively in the
Caribbean region including Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Jamaica and
Barbados. Engagements have included business
impact analyses, criticality analyses, recoverability assessments,
readiness reviews, recovery strategy development, business and
information technology recovery plan development and coordinating
alternate processing facility exercises.
Jeff possesses Level II (Secret) clearance and is certified in ITIL Foundations. | |
